As a former Assistant Director in the Office of Undergraduate Admission at Stanford University (her alma mater), a former Associate Director of College Counseling at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, a former Assistant Director in MBA Admission at the University of Southern California and as a Director of College Counseling at a small school in the SF Bay Area, Lanita has worked with thousands of students with a wide-range of abilities. In the past, she has appeared on regional and national professional panels. She uses her vast experience to optimize her one-to-one work with her current students.

About Lanita Foley

Lanita spent 15 years working at top US educational institutions, both admitting thousands of students to college at Stanford (her alma mater), as an Assistant Director of Admission, and helping students (over 400!) get into college at Phillips Academy, as an Associate Director of College Counseling, before launching her own private college admission and tutoring firm and serving as an advisor to non-profit organizations dedicated to increasing college access.

In the past, she has appeared on panels at national and regional conferences for the College Board, the Western Association for College Admission Counseling, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, and the New England Association for College Admission Counseling. She is a former board member for the Western Association for College Admission Counseling. She is a member of IECA.
